I grew up fascinated by the themed entertainment industry and how people created various themed worlds around the globe. Seeing concepts that become reality is what I find inspiring, and supporting or guiding those processes is what I find rewarding. Driven by these passions, I pursued a degree in Attractions and Theme Parks Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences. This journey brought me to valuable internships at Rulantica and Europa Park, where I gained hands-on experience in operations, quality control, and guest experience. My time at Efteling as an operator further enriched my knowledge, which I now apply to school projects and during participating in the NextGen Showcase. In this program, I have experienced project development and created a complete concept up to the schematic design phase with a team. I started as a project manager and learned what to do as a project manager and the tasks related to that role. Later in the project, I contributed to the technical aspects, where I learned the practical approach of what is needed to design an area and attraction. My ultimate goal is to contribute towards project development in the Themed Entertainment Industry by working together, using my flexible approaches, collaborating with different departments, and thinking about all the details that need to be added. This, in the end, creates the magical worlds that amazed and still amaze me to this day,
