To prevent fraud, we have established an internal purchasing process and policy, and conduct procurement compliance related enlightenment activities for requesting departments. We check orders daily and implement measures to prevent collusion between users and suppliers. As a result, the requesting department deepened their understanding of the purchasing policy and consulted with the purchasing department in advance whenever an issue arose. ＜Streamlining operations and improving processes＞ Purchasing operations tend to be individualized, the internal purchasing process is unclear, and there are issues with manuals not being prepared. After sorting out the current situation, we were able to visualize the purchasing process and create manuals and templates. As a result, inquiries from requesting departments have decreased by 80%. ＜Coordination and flexibility with suppliers＞ There is a tendency to use overseas offshore suppliers, and because of differences in business customs, culture, and language, it plays a role of coordination between suppliers and internal request departments. When contract wording and price negotiations occur, to make sure the project to proceed smoothly, I would try to search the points where mutual agreements can be reached between vendor, and flexibly respond and coordinate while maintaining relationships.
