Whilst applying for Medical School, I completed a 1 year post at Christian Dior (Couture) as a Sales then Image Consultant acquiring a wealth of experience in sales, business and the fashion industry. In 2009, I began my post-graduate journey at Birmingham Medical School, UK as a Physician Associate, which culminated in a scholarship elective at Sunnybrook Health Sciences, Canada in the Emergency Department. As the 2nd cohort to qualify in the UK, I was actively involved in paving the way for the profession and completed my formal post-qualification training in Neurosciences, acute medicine and Neurosurgery before specializing in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery at St. George's Hospital, London UK . During this time, I developed new clinics and processes that had a very significant impact to the service to patients and the ENT department itself. It also demonstrated the importance and need for PAs in the NHS resulting in an increase in PA employment. I have since moved to Toronto, Canada where I continued to build on my clinical skills in Family Medicine, followed by Pediatrics until 2019, which enabled me to develop a unique skill set both in the UK and Canada. Since that time, I joined Manulife and entered the complex and rewarding world of Disability Case Management (short term disability) and now Long Term Disability. Health, Wellness and living an optimal quality of life remains a personal and professional passion. Whether I am practicing medicine as a Clinician or Consulting on Medical issues, Wellness and Health, I am committed to providing a dedicated, focused and exemplary service and level of care.
