Des left Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2023. Des graduated with a B.COMM and MBA from UCC (University College Cork, Ireland) and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA). He has extensive knowledge and experience as a board director and company secretary for a number of GSK entities in Ireland, Switzerland and Puerto Rico for many years. He was also served as a company appointed Pension Trustee for the GSK Ireland DB Scheme for a number of years.
