I utilized that knowledge to become a KC-135 Field Training Detachment Instructor for four years before returning to the maintenance arena to manage the Periodic Inspection dock. While serving as the Periodic Inspection Production Supervisor I gained Continuous Process Improvement and Theory of Constraints Facilitator training. Prior to changing duty stations and relocating to Japan I led the efforts to test bed Theory of Constraints in the Periodic Inspection dock, increasing work flow and decreasing aircraft inspection time 76%. That success led to my selection as the newest and current CPI/Theory of Constraints Program Manager for the Air Force’s largest Maintenance Group.
