As a Special Projects Manager, I worked with the organization’s Safety Officer to help restructure and improve its Environment of Care program based on Joint Commission recommendations and Department of Health regulatory standards. My responsibilities included managing several subcommittees that reported up through the hospital’s Environment of Care Council, preparing for upcoming surveys, coordinating follow up from surveys, and managing the PPR for the Environment of Care and Life Safety sections.
