Updated the EAN system application forms and system and edited the EAN-MMNM periodical Extend implementation of EAN – bar code system throughout Turkey Issued the patent of EAN name and logo in Turkey Allocation of ISBN, ISSN publisher prefixes and numbers to eligible publishers based in the Turkey Carried out bar coding activities of the National Commodities Bar coding Centre (GS1 Turkey, formerly MMNM)member to EAN International in Brussels, in relation with EAN-UCC system which is an information standards definition and implementation system Co-operated with UCC – Uniform Code Council, which is the executive of the system in the USA, in allocating UPC code to GS1 Turkey members who intend to export to the United States from Turkey Evaluated requests for membership to EAN –UCC and monitored and collected membership and application fees. Implemented preliminary studies for Environmental Conference of ICC Handled the translations of articles from overseas periodicals for publication in UCCET Journal of Economics Participated in press conferences. Contributed to studies on upgrading and modernization of railway services through conducting statistical studies.
