I also completed a course in Good Clinical Laboratory Practice during my time working as a Quality Control Coordinator in a clinical research laboratory specializing in TB research. I have extensive working experience as a laboratory services advisor working on improving the clinical laboratory interface between the primary health care sector and the National Health Laboratory Service in South Africa. I also gained international experience in Health Systems Strengthening while working in Zambia as a laboratory services advisor improving health systems relating to laboratory services in the country. I am currently working as a Senior Laboratory Services Advisor in the Kwazulu Natal province of South Africa, managing a team of laboratory services advisors providing technical assistance on the Clinical Laboratory Interface and HIV Rapid Testing Quality Improvement.
