In parallel, I wrote and directed an in-game cinematic (filmed at Beyond Capture studio), co-wrote two episodes of an original web series, and produced a dramatic short film. Back in 2018, I decided to study screenwriting at VFS after three years of being self-employed. In that time, I wrote/edited content and sales copy, worked with clients around the world, balanced various projects, while simultaneously writing my first sci-fi novel, The Tellurian Threat (which I self-published in 2017). But I had not always been a writer. I graduated university with an engineering degree and got a job at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., India's leading car manufacturer. There, my daytime duties involved troubleshooting engineering problems in prototype cars by collaborating with various R&D departments. After six years of moving up the ranks and being promoted to Deputy Manager, I decided that it was time for me to move on and pursue my passion for storytelling, which has brought me to where I am today. I feel that all my experience in the last ten years has coalesced into making me not just a better writer, but also proficient in managing multiple projects, and delivering on tight deadlines. I am ready to step into the world of film, TV, and video games, collaborate with other creatives, and watch our creations come alive.
