I’ve worked across a diverse number of industries ranging from industrial design, exhibition & display design, animatronics (robotic characters and special effects) and retail/ supermarket fixtures and signage design. Starting out as a young Industrial Designer for Telecom Creative Services in 1989 I was able to established my credentials as designer and project manager that led to my involvement in the Australian Pavilion for Communications in Geneva, Switzerland in 1992. That saw me nominated within the top 8 achievers for the South Australian Young Achievers Award 3 years in a row. Following my success my career extended to include Designer, Project Manager and State Manager roles within the Exhibitions and Trade show industry and with one of the worlds most respected animatronic companies; Showtronix. With Robotic character installations for Theme Parks and Science Centres all over the world. In 2002 I went on to start Ideation Australia, a animatronics focussed business. After a total of 10 years within the animatronics industry I decided to return to the Exhibition, displays and themed environments industry where my heart still had unfinished creative business! I am passionate about design and transforming clients' visions into reality. That’s the underpinning reason for the creation and birth of Visible Projex and the Produx range that begun back in 2012.
