Beginning my career as a spare parts interpreter at the local General Motors Holden dealership, I eventually moved on to join my family’s business – Bestwick Transport, based in Port Macquarie. I managed Bestwick Transport on and off for over a decade, and worked with various transportation companies around the NSW, with a significant focus on logistics before being headhunted to work for Mack Trucks in 2000. Joining Mack Trucks was a turning point for me. I have worked in progressively senior sales roles across Australia with Mack until 2009, when I was appointed General Manager. Now Vice President Mack Trucks, overseeing the Oceania region, I am so proud to be the Australian caretaker for this iconic brand. I feel passionately that my responsibility as the head of Mack is to guide the brand and product development in a direction that strengthens our offering for customers.
