I write primarily in Kotlin, but have helped in the conversion of many Java apps written in MVI/MVP to MVVM. This includes converting from RxJava to Flow, XML to Jetpack Compose, REST to Graphql, as well as the implementation of a plethora of 3rd party analytics tools. Outside of Kotlin I am versed in the Agile process, using tools such as Jira, Confluence and Figma. I take an analytics first approach when designing and implementing solutions. This means ensuring that all appropriate analytics tools (such as Segment and Braze) are at the forefront of design. Prior to development I was a self employed Rolfer for the last 14 years. This experience has taught me to work hard, Listen Well!, grow, adapt and problem solve some incredibly hard and unique challenges. My client base consisted of professional athletes and actors, full spectrum of C-suite leaders in firms such as Goldman Sachs, Starwood Capital, Aramark (essentially leaders in multiple industries). These soft skills are a great asset and I enjoy applying them in the tech space.
