In 2011 he was promoted to Senior Community Liaison and Executive Administrator of the Elder Abuse Unit, handling elder abuse complaints and concerns, he has appeared three times on PCN Cable Television as a specialist on fraud against older adults and has testified before the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and the State Senate Policy Committee’s Safety & Wellness for Pennsylvania’s Senior Citizens Roundtable. Currently assigned as an Education & Outreach Specialist in the Executive Section. Dave has worked for many years in public safety; first as a Firefighter and Fire Inspector in Bristol Township,in 1986 he was appointed as a Deputy Sheriff with the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. He also provided crime prevention programs throughout the county as the Community Resource Officer, and in 1999 Dave accepted the position of Investigator with the Fugitive Warrant Division, later being promoted to Warrant Specialist in charge of the unit. Mr. Shallcross is an Honor Graduate of the PA Deputy Sheriff’s Academy at the Dickinson School of Law; attended specialized training with the U.S. Marshal’s and the FBI. The PA Commission on Crime & Delinquency certified instructor in Community Crime Prevention.
