David Salazar Email & Phone Number | Hello, my name is David Salazar. I am 38 years old and a family man, married to an extraordinary woman and with a wonderful son who has changed my life. I studied Engineering in Science and Systems, and have more than 15 years of experience in transformation, creation of economies of scale, education, and development of training programs. I have specialized in the development of life skills and technical competencies for the 21st century, and in creating and implementing training programs in digital skills, programming, AI, Blockchain, and IoT. I have ventured into entrepreneurship, digital product development, and innovation, and for 10 years I worked at Funsepa, where I was in charge of all digital training processes, benefiting more than 90,000 teachers throughout Guatemala. In addition, I led the team that won the National Educational Innovation Award of Guatemala in 2016, as part of the 50th anniversary of the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, and under the sponsorship of MICOOPE, achieving Q. 1,000,000 for the development of our proposal. In May 2018, I founded Colab (Collaboration, Technology, and Innovation Laboratories, Inc.), where we have trained more than 450 young people in Guatemala in technical and soft skills, and have created digital solutions for different industries. We have also created joint competency development programs in web programming and English for the region. I participated in the Signing of the Localization of the SDGs 2030 in Seville, Spain in 2019, thanks to the invitation of the UN, and I have been a speaker at various conferences. We created the Meetups space for decentralized finance training, as well as technical knowledge of the use of Blockchain in Finance, Identity, and Citizen Records in Chimaltenango since 2018, along with SimpleICO (now IBEX Market) and Binance. Currently, both Colab and I are part of the national directory of entities and researchers of SENACYT, members of the Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala, part of the Technology and Innovation Guild, members of Agexport, and members of AMCHAM. I firmly believe that migration can be mitigated by creating quality jobs locally and providing innovation for the world. I believe in the potential of young people and in developing their talents to produce wealth and innovation. I believe in God and that only by His grace can we transform our future. Soli Deo Gloria.
