David Sage Email & Phone Number | I am a recently graduated Mechanical Engineer with BE(Hons) from the University of Canterbury. Through my exposure to the hydro-mechanical industry I have developed my skills and my passions have continued to grow. I am very interested in the "design and build" aspect of mechanical engineering, from the conceptual development stage through to calculations and designs and into project management for the manufacturing and installation. Throughout the course of my degree I have completed many interesting mechanical engineering papers, all of which have sparked my interest in the subject and led me down the path of further research and reading into the field. I am a very hands-on person, who's mind is always working overtime in the background on some new project for optimisation or increasing efficiency. I love to be outside and building with my hands, often starting through utilisation of simple CAD to map out my project which feeds into manufacturing and implementation.
