David Rains Email & Phone Number | I have worked in the hospitality industry, primarily in hotels, since December of 2006, when I began with my current hotel, Country Inn & Suites. I have been employed by Hostmark Hospitality since August 2007. In my time at the Country Inn & Suites, I have ascended the ranks from a base Front Office Associate to my current position as the Front Office Supervisor. In the few years that I have worked in the industry, I have learned a great deal from various mentors I worked under, as well as experience itself. I am currently enrolled in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Purdue University Calumet and will be graduating in Spring 2010. I have found that working in hotels as I work towards my BS degree has helped to accelerate my learning process as well as take the theory I learn in class and reinforce it with real world experiences. My goal, aside from completing my degree, is to remain in the industry and to make a career out of what I have discovered is my niche in the business world. I am looking forward to a healthy relationship at my current company and I am hoping for greater opportunies as I move forward with them.
