Here is where I interview students and families on a daily basis. I work closely with the families of color and also educational programs. I take joy in meeting new people everyday, only because I get to gain prospective on different cultures, family values, and aspirations. My goal is a to build a bond with students, which helps them understand the culture of Westminster. Along with my admissions obligations, I'm also the head basketball coach of varsity boys' basketball team. I've been the head coach for several years now. It's been a pleasure to help teach, motivate, and encourage athletes to become better people. I believe you learn a lot through sports about life lessons. Being an advisor and corridor supervisor at a private school is one of the best jobs. Here is where you truly build and create relationships that can last a life time. It's clear that living with students is not always easy but this is the setting, where you develop integrity and accountability. Overall, working at a boarding school is an unique job and requires different skills, but in the end it's about the journey of watching students grow.
