I am currently a level 8 Chief Systems Engineer and Space FBLOS Principal Advisor at Dstl. My specialisms include satellite communications, systems thinking, systems and requirements engineering, operational analysis, combat identification, C4ISR and assured capability assessment. My previous roles have included consultancy, project management, maritime command and control systems, combat identification, multinational experimentation (as UK analyis lead at the Bold Quest exercises from 2008 to 2011) and defence transformation. My work has been presented at a number of national and international events including the CCRTS, OR society, NDM, CISC, ISMOR and IET Milsatcom conferences. I had a paper published in the International Journal of C2, and contributed a chapter to a book on Fratricide called Unfriendly Fire. I also led the team developing Def Stan 00-051 on environmental management requirements.
