David Crouch is a With over 30 years of experience in the defence, security, and civil nuclear sectors, I am a leading expert in Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) operations, mitigation technologies and standards development. I hold a PhD in Materials Science, an MBA in Executive Business Administration, and an MA in Defence Studies, as well as multiple certifications and patents in the CBRNe and civil nuclear fields. Currently, I serve as a Senior Lecturer in Counter-CBRN at Cranfield University, where I lead on the delivery and management of the UK MOD Counter-CBRN Professional Education Programme, and design and develop CBRN short courses, case studies, exercises, symposia and workshops. I am also the Technical Director at United CBRN Limited, a leading global consultancy that specializes in providing authoritative CBRNe and civil nuclear safety support to government, military, and first responder clients, as well as industrial and academic partners. My core competencies include technical leadership, extreme hazard operations, strategic planning, product road mapping, customer-driven needs analysis, targeted innovation, agile product development, and strategic partnership development. I have delivered cutting-edge technology solutions, consultancy services, and training programmes to various organisations, such as NATO, EU Commission, UK MoD, UK Home Office, DEFRA, DTRA, DARPA, US DoE amongst others. I have also published numerous articles and papers on CBRNe relatopics, and contributed to the development of international standards and best practices. My mission is to help my clients and partners to be better prepared to respond to the use of CBRN and other extreme hazards, and to formulate deals that meet their interests and objectives.
