  David Chambers is a I currently focus on storage performance and capacity analysis for the Stability Engineering team. We are extending our storage performance expertise by adding support for public cloud providers. I have a continued interest in end-to-end performance analysis and troubleshooting and work to build cross-functional relationships between our many technical areas of expertise. I have primary responsibility for defining and implementing a storage performance strategy for Fidelity's enterprise storage environment. We have deployed and used Virtana's Virtual Wisdom product including their Brocade switch integration as well as their virtual machine integration to collect historical data for and alert on all switch port and VM level storage events across all data centers in our disk SAN fabrics. I have direct responsibility for improving and growing the product as well as building and maintaining our vendor relationship with Virtana. I used Tableau Desktop to develop enterprise-wide SAN capacity reports that summarize our storage environment and allow drill-down by site and storage vendor. Historically, I came up through Unix system administration, performed some OS architecture and web development / reporting work, then moved on to OS and SAN performance for many years before holding the team management position for about three years. I have found great value in blending multiple technical performance disciplines into one end-to-end view of application performance.
