My last 16 years .During my tenure of 16 years with RG I have worked in various positions starting with senior safety advisor up to the head of safety. I have experience of working in commissioning, operations, shutdowns and training. I have managed a multicultural team of professionals in terms of aligning the organizations expectations and improve the safety culture of the organization. Just recently gained Fellowship of the Institute of Leadership & Management(illm). I manage a team of professional experienced trainers delivering safety training and I'm well versed in competencies and frame work required to become a safety professional. Previously I managed a team of safety practitioners looking after all aspects of safety during planning and execution of shutdown & turnarounds, I have also been looking after national development for Qatari nationals who are looking to be safety professionals,ensuring they gain the qualifications and skills to meet internationally recognised standards. I have just completed a suite of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) courses to assist with some national development coaching that I’m currently in involved in. The project coordinators are expected to reach the Professional Development in Emergency Planning Series (PDS) as part of their development.
