His primary responsibility was to formulate and present investment recommendations based on industry research and company specific financial performance, operational strategy, competitive positioning and equity valuation. While at AGI, his recommendations for large cap portfolios outperformed the benchmark by 200 basis points on average. He also managed a mid-cap financials portfolio that outperformed the benchmark by an average of 400 basis points annually. Previously, Darin worked at Wachovia Securities covering the homebuilding sector.
