Before this I was seconded into the Environment Agency where I worked as a project manager on FCRM projects. I started out my career at Stantec where I delivered a wide range of schemes for Northumbrian Water Group (NWG) on the Esh-Stantec joint venture. I hold a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering from University of Brighton, where I developed my technical and analytical abilities, as well as my passion for engineering and problem-solving. I am also a STEM Ambassador, a role that allows me to share my enthusiasm and expertise with the next generation of engineers and inspire them to pursue STEM careers. Additionally, I am actively involved in the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), serving as the Vice Chair of the Northumbria Branch, a member of the North East Fairness, Inclusion and Respect Action Group, and a member of the Yorkshire and Humber Committee. Through these positions, I aim to promote the values and standards of the civil engineering profession, foster a culture of diversity and inclusion, and support the professional development of my peers.
