After some years of experience in industrial engineering fields (automobile, piping, and electrical home appliances), I discovered I'm passionate about combining engineering with new technologies. So now, and since two years ago, I'm transferring my knowledge to the software engineering process, embracing best practices such as agile methodologies and TDD, in order to achieve maintainable, testable, and performant code. Furthermore, having worked for my country's Intellectual Property office, I profoundly admire the value of open-source software. I'm a methodical and detail-oriented person, and I like dynamic working environments with small self-managed and accountable teams. Luego de varios años de experiencia en la ingeniería industrial en campos como la industria automotriz, de energía, electrodomésticos, entre otros, descubrí que me apasiona combinar la ingeniería con nuevas tecnologías. Actualmente, y desde hace dos años, transfiero mis conocimientos a los procesos de ingeniería de software, adoptando las mejores prácticas, como metodologías ágiles y TDD, con el fin de lograr un código mantenible, comprobable y eficaz. Además, al haber trabajado para la oficina de propiedad intelectual de mi país, admiro profundamente el valor del software de código abierto.
