As owner and CEO of CRV Festivals, I executive produced 52 city-wide events in 6 Colorado cities over 12 years, secured corporate sponsorships, managed a 1M annual budget, all facets of brand marketing and initiatives, media planning/buying/execution, press/communications, advertising, social media, vendor bookings, entertainment bookings, catering, and site operations. Previous to 2000 I founded Garden Level Studios, a graphic design firm (1980-2000) in Oakland County Michigan. I illustrated 5 published books, marketed in the US and internationally, specialty gift catalogs, designed retailer advertising; and was a commissioned fine artist of murals for private clients, for an interior designer. As Vice-President of Chaffee County Visitor’s Bureau, I chaired a community liaison committee, and participated in Chaffee County re-branding, and participated in allocating county expenditures of the lodging tax. During my tenure as President of Salida Community Center, I led a capital fundraising campaign to successfully purchase a building to house the Community Center and created committees to re-organize from a senior center to a more inclusive community center.
