Danielle Daverona Email & Phone Number | After the realization set in that I was going to fail music theory as a freshman in college, I began to panic. I'd never failed anything in my life and if this went poorly I'd be kicked out of the college of music. In a conversation with my mother, she reminded me no matter what I'd done to keep my time full in the past (band, track and swim for 10+ years) I always made time to draw. Surprising no-one, I now work as a full time artist and keep my free time full with commissioned and projects of every sort. Getting to wake up and design and execute signage for Chuy's for the last 4+ years with Chuy's has and is a dream. Waking up daily to doing something you live and breathe (carefully, because fumes) makes work not feel like work, so it's no wonder why when my days are done I usually go home to execute something new. Leading the Art Department and working within the Interior Design team has provided opportunities not only creating custom art full time, but also installing it in 40+ stores (11+ states) across the country. The similarities between my job and Production Design are uncanny I also focus on putting my passion for learning new materials and challenges by tackling Commissions as well as Set/Prop Design/and Costume Design projects outside of work. From selling art at conventions like Tacticon and HeroCon to creating castle sets for a producer's living room, I just can't help but want to fill up spaces with creativity and whimsy. The more as I grow as an artist the larger the obsticles I want to tackle! In an effort to utilize my skills for a greater good, I also enjoy supporting my local aniaml shelter by donating art to help with events, and will begin set designing with the Hideout Theatre in the coming weeks. Art aids communities by calling awarenes to the needs of the community, as well as it's entertainment!
