Strong advocate of innovative supply chain traceability/monitoring systems and integrated landscape approaches to address global sustainability challenges such as climate change and nature loss (incl. those related to land use of high-impact commodities such as cattle, palm, soybeans, cocoa, coffee, rubber, forestry, among others). Additionally, he has experience working with ecosystem restoration, Nature-based Solutions, regenerative agriculture, agroforestry systems and biodiversity conservation projects in Latin America and Africa. Very good understanding of the policy arena related to nature, especially on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the EU-Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF). Also very good understanding of private sector disclosure frameworks such as the ones provided by the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and the Science Based Target Network (SBTN).
