Together with my colleague Edita Štrajtová we are behind the project of the cultural and artistic platform Petrohradská kolektiv, which has been operating since 2015. We connect presentation and awareness-raising activities in the field of art in the Czech Republic and abroad, our activities are mainly: AIR program, exhibitions, concerts, author presentations. We also operate Jedna Dva Tři Gallery, Kino Petrohradská, cultural centre Petrohradská kolektiv and the associated Klub Petrohradská, a studio complex with 36 studios and a coworking space. The activities thus include the main activities of our association Petrohradská kolektiv z.s.: the production and promotion of contemporary art, but also economic activities in the form of renting non-residential premises, as well as production and catering activities. The activities of the association are supported by the City of Prague, the Ministry of Culture, the State Fund for Culture, the Prague 10 Municipality, this year by the EU National Recovery Plan and others. Petrohradská itself acts as an artist run initiative, i.e. an initiative led by artists. We are the two founding and still leading members. Me Daniel Konopáč and academic artist Edita Štrajtová. In its current form, we are working on the project with the following composition: the main project team consists of 7 people, 5 technicians and 11 curators and dramaturgs. The service is also provided by another 20 coworkers.
