Daniel Heyman is a Department Head of Printmaking at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Responsibilities include: overseeing curriculum for undergraduate and graduate program; hiring and maintaining faculty and staff; budget; student recruitment; liaison between the faculty and the school administration; report directly to the Dean of Fine Arts. Professional Artist with work in major US museums (Metropolitan Museum of Art; Philadelphia Museum of Art; Getty Research Institute; New York Public Library; Library of Congress; Yale University Art Gallery; Virginia Museum of Art; Hood Museum of Art among others.) Guggenheim Fellow 2010; Pew Fellow in the Arts 2009; Artist in Residence, Dartmouth College, 2013. Recent Shows: Amon Carter Museum of Art; Virginia Museum of Fine Arts; Cade Tompkins Projects. Experienced Professor of Art at the undergraduate and graduate levels. On-going: RISD; Princeton; PAFA. Recent Visiting Faculty Appointments: Dartmouth College; Connecticut College.
