My primary focus is on improving the energy of plant through retrofits or reviewing designs of new builds. I am passionate about mechanical engineering and using my knowledge to teach others modern design principles and retrofitting to save energy. I have worked design and energy efficiency engineering for 15 years. I was trained in building services design at NZ at PFC for three years. Since then I have worked as a consultant in energy efficiency for three firms in Indonesia as well for one in the USA. In addition to building the energy efficient dept of SES I helped to start the first energy auditing department for the Dennis Group (DGL) in Atlanta, Georgia. I enjoy teaching both colleagues, and clients the basic principles of why one type of system is more efficient than another. This creates trust with the client and builds competence within the engineering team.
