Since September 2021, I have been working on an apartment complex with more than 450 units. One building, 5 story slab on grade and the other building a podium deck with a garage. In 2016, I graduated high school from MyrlteBeach, SC, and started college at LSU. With LSU on campus housing, I worked as a Resident Assistant for my Sophmore - Senior year. This job opportunity was much more than a job. It taught me time management with school, social life, and school. Through the customer service oriented job, I gained experience in communication skills and managing issues between people, mostly roommates. In 2019, I got the opportunity to join the STOA Group team as an intern. I mainly worked in the field, dealing with subcontractors on a daily basis. The superintendents and assistant superintendents I worked under created a great learning atmosphere for me. They further drove my education, allowing me to tie the education I learned from college with on the job training. In May 2020, I graduated from LSU with a bachelor's in Construction Management. And I began my career in construction with STOA Group. In August 2021, I left STOA Group and headed to Austin to be with my Fiancé and started a new position with AMLI Development.
