Dr. Rothschild has worked with a variety of companies and universities to develop their IP portfolios in areas relating to pharmaceuticals, chemical compounds, and biotechnology. Dr. Rothschild’s professional experience includes serving as a research assistant professor at Wake Forest University Medical School where her research focused on genetic analysis of complex diseases, including cancer and diabetes. Dr. Rothschild has been selected for inclusion in the 2015 Edition of the Best Lawyers in America. Also, she has been appointed to the Advisory Committee for Biotechnolgy in the Piedmont Triad: a partnership of Piedmont Triad citizens and the North Carolina Biotechnolgy Center. Dr. Rothschild is very involved with pro bono work, and received the 2002-2003 North Carolina Intellectual Property Section Award for Pro Bono Work.
