The outcome of this is my book Psychology and Crime and a significant role in the Web Science initiative at The University of Southampton. This project was created by Professors Sir Tim Berners-Lee, Dame Wendy Hall and Sir Nigel Shadbolt. The aim of the project is to understand the Web as a social and technical space. My interest in this derives from the way that the Web affords a new space to conduct crime in unique ways. The University of Southampton recently launched its first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). The first to launch was Web Science, and I led the development of the Cyber Crime and Cyber Security sessions. I currently work with colleagues from the National Crime Agency and the Home Office on various projects and I am a leading member of the Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security at the University of Southampton.
