I have worked my way through roles over the years, from leading a group of electricians installing switchroom equipment, to project managing the mechanical build of the switchroom & installation of equipment. Finally to working directly for ABB Australia, supervising all aspects of the switchroom manufacture & installation. Adding to this experience is numerous years in the construction industry coupled with a steady progression into the service industry. I spent many years being on direct hire to BOC gases, working in the Sydney operations plant. My role at BOC was primarily with the installation & calibration of instrumentation on site. My 4 years in this role gave me valuable experience within the instrumentation trade & exposure to a great array of instrumentation. I have experience over the years in LV, MV, & HV equipment installation. The suppliers of this equipment have been the major players within the industry such as ABB, Schneider, Siemens, APC, Eaton, along with many other suppliers. My experience also covers the installation of all other control peripheral’s that are required within a switchroom or control room & integration onto site. Contracts that I have been involved with over the years involve Mining, Coal seam gas, along with Manufacturing & infrastructure. Working with these industries has given me a great understanding of client expectations & specifications throughout contracted works. Working with clients such as QGC, Bechtel, Worley Parsons, & Velosi has given me an insight of client expectation’s in regard to safety, QA/QC & reporting.
