I my previous positions and job skill set, I achieved Certified Skilled Welder positions at multiple companies. I was awarded Operation Starpoint leader working in a national locomotive manufacturing facility in a years frame of time. With the ability to perform job tasks in 4 different work stations, I would oversee and assist in quality control as well as shift scheduing. Prior, I also worked 13 years in the food grade plastic extrusion industry. While in this industry, I acquired a Green Belt certificate in Lean Manufacturing, conducted numerous Kaizen teams and events, team member of several Kanban events, implementing a cost savings program that saved 1.5 million over a year. Along with these involvements in the company, I was also qualified to run 5 different pieces of machinery and 4 different extrusion lines. I was also a floor trainer and team leader in my department. I have a very wide variety of skills and assets that I have obtained throughout my working career.
