Copeland Spell Email & Phone Number | I am a senior at Elon University pursuing an undergraduate degree in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice. My experience as a collegiate Division I student-athlete has been challenging and very rewarding. I have been able to develop effective communication and time management skills through playing collegiate football. One of the most rewarding parts about playing a Division I sport is that it brings people together from all walks of life to achieve a common goal. This goal is not possible without learning how to communicate effectively with one another to achieve an organization's goals. This past summer I was able to learn all aspects of what it takes to become a successful salesperson through the Compass Group Sales Intern experience. As an intern, I was able to make cold calls, pursue new clients for the company through outside sales, and sit in on actual sales meetings and sales pitches to new clients. This internship allowed me to actually become a salesperson for the summer and work along side one of the most successful salespeople in Compass Group. Through this internship, I completed Sales Funnel training and the Ty Boyd Excellence in Speaking courses. The sales skills and effective communication skills learned through the Compass Group Sales Intern experience will make me an effective salesperson and effective communicator in future endeavors. Post-graduation, I would like to pursue a career in sales, using the skills learned through my internship to grow the client base of a corporation.
