This fascination laid the foundation for my career, steering me toward the realm of sports injury rehabilitation. I pursued a degree in Sports Management & Coaching. This three-year experience not only broadened my understanding of the sports industry but also honed my coaching skills, both on a personal level and in team settings. I seized every opportunity to work alongside high-level sports teams across various disciplines which allowed me to absorb knowledge from the world's best in sports and exercise medicine. This journey of exploration led me to the realisation that my true calling lay in injury rehabilitation. I relocated to London to immerse myself in Sports Rehabilitation studies. Here I continued to collaborate with sports teams and secure clinical work. Upon my return my career took a significant leap forward as I began working with the Meath GAA Football Team and launched Camden Sports Clinic aiding a diverse clientele in achieving remarkable recoveries from their injuries. However, COVID-19 posed an unforeseen challenge, leading to the temporary closure of my practice. It was during this period of uncertainty that I discovered the profound impact of remote rehabilitation. Through Telehealth appointments and rehab programming, I was able to help people far beyond my geographic confines, establishing a service model centred around accountability and unwavering support. The lockdown period also provided me with the opportunity to further augment my expertise through a qualification in Strength & Conditioning. This additional knowledge enabled me to guide patients from the acute phase of their injuries to a comprehensive, long-term rehab journey, culminating in a healthier, pain-free lifestyle. The culmination of my experiences led to the founding of Collective Fitness alongside my brother-in-law, Jack McGrath, and ex-rugby coach, James Norton. Notably, I played a leading role in Jack's recovery from hip-resurfacing surgery, collaborating with renowned professionals throughout. This experience reinforced my belief in my ability to drive successful outcomes for anyone in need. Today, my journey continues as I dedicate myself to helping CEOs, business professionals, and everyday individuals reclaim their health and achieve their fitness aspirations. My mission is to empower people to return to exercise and attain their goals safely and effectively, backed by a foundation of professional excellence and compassionate care.
