I was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado, two miles away from Colorado State University. I went to Rocky Mountain High School where I was a four year letter recipient in wrestling and diving. I spent my freshman year of college at the University of Wyoming studying agriculture and planned to participate in college sports. After getting a job offer to coach boys and girls High School diving back in Fort Collins, I made the decision to transfer to CSU and I never looked back.
