  Colin Chong is a Colin is a Fellowship trained radiologist with experience covering the entire spectrum of musculoskeletal diagnostic and interventional radiology including orthopedic, spinal, rheumatology, musculoskeletal oncology and imaging of elite athletes and professional sporting teams in Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Colin was appointed Musculoskeletal Radiologist for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. He specialises in minimally invasive treatments for palliative care, acute, chronic and cancer pain management including cementoplasty, pulsed radiofrequency stimulation, continuous RF neurotomies, cryoablation and RFA of bone and soft tissue tumours. He is Chair of the MRI Reference Group of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR), serves on the RANZCR Interventional Radiology Working Standards Group and Safety, Quality and Standards Group, the New Zealand Ministry of Health Pharmaceutical Management Agency, co-founded a Minimally Invasive Palliative Procedures Multidisciplinary Service for cancer-related pain in New Zealand. Colin is the Lead, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Scientific Committee, Australasian Society of Ultrasound (ASUM) in Medicine 50th Anniversary Conference, National Keynote speaker for ASA 2021, teaches MSK Ultrasound internationally and for ASUM, Australasian Sonographers Association , Alexandra Academy of Clinical and Emergency Sonography and AIU. Colin was keynote speaker and faculty member in over 80 scientific conferences with numerous publications, research grants and prizes, and previous recipient of the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council Medical Scholarship and Greg Monaghan Award for Intern of the Year.
