Well, you wouldn't be far off. I've always had a knack for understanding complex systems, and it eventually led me to my passion - optimizing supply chains. My initial jump into the world of logistics was with Bimbo Bakeries USA Inc. where I started as an hourly dock worker and years later became the PNW Supply Chain Operations Manager. During my nearly 10 year run, I managed to transform our supply chain reducing operation costs while ensuring on-time delivery rates never declined. With my love of problem-solving and a keen sense for creative thinking, I was eager to take on bigger challenges. I joined Nike as a Marketplace Supply Chain Lead Process Manager. Over the course of three years, I assisted in designing, testing, and implementing an Enterprise Resource Planning system which replaced a 20 year old SAP System providing better visibility to materials and improved the financial reporting of the company. Now, I spend my days (and sometimes nights) at Nike, focused on the largest ERP system the company has ever taken on specializing in supply chain optimization. I've had the privilege of working with amazing partners and consultants across various channels of the operation, from manufacturing to retail, to finance. In the last six months alone, we've have successfully adopted SAP S/4 Hana and have continued to be focused on building stronger business continuity. When I'm not knee-deep in SAP S/4 Hana and solving new challenges, you can usually find me spending time with my beautiful wife and daughter. Similar to my career my hobbies are always pushing myself to something I didnt think was possible, whether its running a marathon, swimming far distances or taking on the next great challenge my goal is always to prove I can do something I never thought I could.
