I soon also learned how to put them back together as well. While it did terrify my parents when I was doing so at nine, now I’ve ground to be able to solve all my own IT issues and those of others. I even enjoy fixating on getting to the solution when presented with a problem. Whether it’s as quick as re-seating memory sticks or as touchy as disassembling an entire phone to replace the screen, as long as I have the tools and parts for the job, I will finish the puzzle to completion. I’ve even carefully replaced batteries in iPads and multiple times in my own Android phones. I can be scrappy and determined when it comes to troubleshooting issues. I’ve even resoldered wires and components to help bring machines and accessories back to life. My tinkering does not stop at hardware either, as I’ve taken time to reconfigure software on those Windows and Linux machines for easier and streamlined use. However, I also understand that other people have specialties that lie elsewhere, and I enjoy taking the time to help them out. I love to teach other people as much as they want to know about how to do something as long as I know how to do it myself. And if I don’t know it, I have a drive to learn how to do it so that I can teach and help solve problems for others! My IT skills revolve around hardware and software solutions on Windows, Android, and Linux machines primarily, but I’m happy and open to learning more about other ecosystems and even more past that. I have some network troubleshooting experience too. With my background of face-to-face and over-the-phone customer support, I’m confident in giving proper solutions to customers in timely and efficient manners. Above all, I’m always yearning to learn as much as I can and do what I can for others. I also locally network host, run, and tune generative text and image models with open-source software in my spare time, sometimes having to modify the Python source files to suit my tuning or running needs. I often use virtualization as well for backwards compatibility with older software, running VirtualBox or VMWare depending on the needs of the program. My software skillset is varied, and I can come up with creative solutions when appropriate and needed.
