My role includes Quality Assurance on both aircraft and electronic data and also of the support systems associated with the aircraft. In previous roles, I spent a year working as part of an Airworthiness Review Team, conducting Baseline Military Airworthiness Reviews (BMAR) and Military Airworthiness Reviews (MAR) but am now back maintaining aircraft, bringing that experience to my maintenance section. I have completed specialist courses in Advanced Airframe Repairs and Composite Repair Techniques. I have completed 4 tours of Afghanistan, of which 2 were as the Special Repair Team Commander, working closely alongside 1710 NAS (Formerly known as MASU). In September 2023 I will undertake a Level 3 Traction & Rolling Stock course at the National Academy for Rail to prepare for a future career in this field. I also have experience with Quality Assurance, Data Integrity, Aircraft paperwork and paperwork coordination, and electronic work recording.
