The roles consist of titles from the most current as a Senior Data Engineer to titles that include: DevOps Engineer, Lead Backend Developer, Bug Team Lead, Precision Agriculture Developer/Processor and Sr. ETL Developer, and Testing Engineer. In my time at O’Reilly Auto Parts, I was a Senior Data Engineer extracting data from a DB2 instance, transforming it using Informatica, and loading it to a Teradata instance. Increased performance by writing a Python backend HTML tool that connected to Informatica’s repository database and is still used daily to increase the thoroughness of the team's ability to catch failing jobs. I wasn’t quite done working for ARMTech Inc. as a Sr. Backend Developer. Implemented third party integration with John Deere via their API, learning OAuth 2.0 along the way. It became apparent we needed additional hands on deck for the Testing Team. Upgrading our SQL Server databases I integrated several performance tests to ensure a smooth transition on major version upgrades as well as testing new features. Working a remote position with Tyler Technologies as a Senior Data Engineer, later ended up redefined as Senior Software Engineer, I was a champion of teamwork and encouragement. Prioritizing customer satisfaction, as our customer was public safety, we defined processes and fixed workflow issues within the current migration.
