Identifies and prioritizes capital improvement projects to assure the continued reliable delivery of potable water. Participates in treatment plant upgrade planning meetings and plan review for small and large projects, including the construction and implementation of UV disinfection and new filter building. The City of Norfolk's Kristen M. Lentz Water Treatment Plant is the first large UV disinfection facility in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Member of AWWA and a few VA AWWA committees; and proud past Chair of the Plant Operations Committee. In addition to planning and scheduling professional conferences and seminars, I have presented at the AWWA/VWEA Joint Annual Meeting, various professional conferences, and webinars on topics ranging from Asset Management, ultraviolet disinfection, water quality, process implementation, and regulatory changes.
