Continuous Improvement & Project Management Highlights: I have extensive experience in leading and facilitating Subject Matter Experts through the phases of DMAIC and Kaizen projects. I use my project management skills via Lean Six Sigma to successfully achieve data driven change. I have used mapping tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, and SIPOC analysis to help teams discover the pain points and barriers to flow that exist within their organizations. I then guide the team through pain point analysis and countermeasure brainstorming to eliminate waste and variation with their organization. Some of my favorite tools to use discover root causes to these pain points include the 5 Whys, Cause-and-Effect Diagrams (Fishbone/Ishikawa), and descriptive statistical analysis. I carefully manage scope, time, and cost throughout my projects by creating well written project charters and communication plans to ensure the stakeholders and the customers are on the same page and expect the same results. Using failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) I can head off future problems before they occur or help the end user know how to mitigate the problem if it occurs.
