Christine Lockamy Email & Phone Number | I grew up in a military family and spent my childhood traveling. We lived all around the United States and even lived in Germany. Whenever my dad would return from a deployment, we would take a trip somewhere new and exciting. I love hospitality and tourism because of the positive impact it has had on my family and my life. My horizons are so broad because I have seen so much of the world, and I want to help others have new experiences as well. I recently finished a bachelor's program for Hospitality Management with American Public University. My concentration is in tourism, and I really have a passion for it! I love learning about why people travel, and strategies surrounding the tourism market. I completed a Disney College Program in Fall of 2015, while I was there I participated in a seminar series on Hospitality and Guest Service. I returned to Disney in January 2018 for a Professional Internship with Disney Fairy Tale Weddings sales department. In February of 2019, I began a Management Internship at Walt Disney World. I was selected to participate in Disney's Hospitality Leadership Program, which is a 12 month leadership development program that involves 10 international participants working as a front office managers in one of Disney's Resorts while completing a capstone project focused on improving the club access experience at Walt Disney World Resorts Before returning to Disney, I was the Sales and Catering Administrative Coordinator at a full service Holiday Inn and convention center. I was able to work closely with the other hotel departments to ensure that conferences, weddings, tour groups, and all types of guests have a wonderful time when staying with us. I am interested in experiences that will help expand my knowledge of the hospitality and tourism industry.
