The majority of my career has been within the financial services industry where I have been responsible for training, talent management, leadership development, D&I and performance coaching. Until January 2014 in Canada, I was sitting on several Leadership Advisory committees and internal coaching teams. My career started as a banker and progressed into roles within wealth management at ScotiaMcLeod. While studying for my Bachelor of Commerce I discovered a love for HR and OD. Because of my strong communication and presentation skills, I decided to specialize in learning and development. This eventually led me to a senior role with Kootenay Savings Credit Union where I managed a team of 6 to design, develop and deliver both technical and soft skills training. In 2014 I received an exciting offer to move overseas to Bahrain to work as Head of Learning & Development MEA for BNP Paribas covering Corporate Investment Banking and Wealth Management functions. As a Director at EY, I draw upon my deep L&D experience to offer bespoke training solutions to clients and contributes to HR transformation initiatives. I have an MBA in Executive Management from Royal Roads University in Canada, and a Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) and Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). I’m proud to have an ICF Executive Coach (ACC) designation.
