The project covered over 30 sub-projects in the Water and Sanitation and Energy sectors. She has pronounced expertise in capacity assessments and training needs analysis. 2012-2013, she managed procurement and capacity assessments for JICA borrowers in Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Procurement training to the African Development Bank (AfDB) focused on the new harmonized procedures and their dissemination to AfDB borrowers; and overseeing the preparation of training materials for procurement training for European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) borrowers. Christine has led many of Crown Agents’ large and high-profile procurement projects. These have included regular engagement with ministers, donor leads and senior civil servants. Crown Agents' initial engagement with Ukraine MOH in 2015 was the first time the Ministry outsourced their procurement to an international organization. Whilst the reforming Deputy Minister had managed the process of amending the Public Procurement Law to allow this to happen, the first year of the project involved numerous meetings with Ministries of Finance and State Fiscal Services and regulatory bodies to work through how the procurement was being implemented and the impact this had on their own regulations and processes. Christine’s leadership ensured that the necessary regulatory changes could be made to allow the procurement to proceed effectively and efficiently with all stakeholders brought into the process.
