Christian, a geology graduate, started his career on drilling rigs in the Far East and Latin American before obtaining a production engineering MSc and moving to Aberdeen in 2000 to work for BP, Marathon Oil and then Repsol. In his barrel chasing career he has had various onshore/offshore technical and leadership roles delivering coil and frac campaigns, full plant optimisation, and various new technologies and best practice to increase, restore and sustain production from aging well stock. Outside of work, Christian is a keen cyclist and bike packer. He also is a racket sports fan, most adept in squash but has recently taken up Padel and is entering a Repsol team in the local corporate Padel league.
