Laboratory Skills: - Strong understanding of Ultrafiltration and Plasmid production areas in a GMP environment - Proficient in the use of Solo VPE, LevTech mixers, Tube Welders, Watson-Marlow Peristaltic Pumps, Glasswashers, YSI Biochemistry Analyzer, Benchtop Centrifuges and Motorized Cap Torquers - Experience in aseptic techniques and sampling, and sanitizations of BSC/process equipment - Proficient in Column Chromatography, Use of an IR Spectrometer, Gas Chromatography, - Solvent extraction and isolation, solid-liquid extraction, liquid-liquid extraction for the isolation and purification of organic substances - Protein Purification, Solvolysis reactions, Acid-base reactions, SN1 Reactions, E1 Reactions, acid-base extraction - Refluxing in both a Findenser and a traditional condenser, use of a water aspirator, and the preparation use and analysis of TLC plates - Experience in writing laboratory protocols and editing MBR’s with the intention of completing experiments yielding results that can be analyzed - Some hands on lab experience in cell culture based biologics including agar plate growth, mammalian based cell growth and other biological processes - Strong understanding of laboratory safety skills such as PPE, hazard analysis and ID Computer Skills: - Proficient in use of MCS, E-Logs, LIMS, QTS, Informa, PDOCs and SAP - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 2013; Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
